The Institute of Swimming’s (IoS) education is the largest trainer of swimming teachers and coaches in England and the premier provider of the ASA’s courses. They are at the cutting edge of teacher and coach education, from running the latest Teacher training courses through to providing continuing professional development.

The logo symbolises the quality and support that shows the dedication to future developments. All The Swimming Academy staff are assigned to the IoS for continous training.

The IoS have also been appointed as a Centre of Excellence by government, which means they work with employers and industry partners to co-ordinate and deliver training provision required across aquatics.

The Swimming Academy staff are all members of the IoS for continually development training.

Distinctions between the IoS Education and A.S.A

Think of it this way, the IoS is like the university that delivers the courses and ASA Awarding Body is the examination board that approves the results and hands out the certificates
